Pawsitive Pathways: Animal Welfare Leaders (Ages 13–15)

Step into the world of animal sheltering with Pawsitive Pathways, a monthly leadership and volunteer program designed for teens ages 13–15. Each 2.5-hour session (9:30am–12:00pm) is run through our Volunteer Department and gives teens the opportunity to dive in independently—no parents required—making a real difference for animals in need.

What to Expect:

• Learn About Shelter Life: Explore animal welfare topics and the daily work of helping pets find loving homes.
   
• Hands-On Volunteer Work: Jump in and get your hands dirty with real shelter tasks—all completed independently, building confidence and responsibility along the way.
   
• Earn School Volunteer Hours: All service completed during sessions counts toward school community service requirements.
   
• Animal Time: Every session wraps up with dedicated time spent with our shelter animals—the best part of the day!

Sessions are $20 each, and all proceeds support our life-saving programs. Whether you're passionate about animals or exploring future careers, Pawsitive Pathways is your chance to step up, give back, and lead with compassion.
