Compassionate Care Camp

Does your child love animals, and wants to learn more?

Give your children a chance to get involved with all things animal this summer and learn how they can be animal advocates within the community!

This summer camp is designed to provide your child with a better understanding of animal-related career fields, how to provide proper daily care for animals and what we do here at the Fredericksburg SPCA!

With themes like "creepy crawlies, down on the farm, and ocean advocates", their week will be filled with fun activities and a chance to hear from people who are working in the animal industry!  Students will have the opportunity to learn the answers to questions like "how do farm animals digest their food? Where do I find nematodes in my backyard? How can I help save polar bears from extinction?"

With discussions about a large variety of animal-related topics, there is something for everyone!

Not only is this an incredible experience for the animal-loving child in your life, but all monies raised through camp fees also go toward our life-saving mission. 

Each week-long session is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12 pm hosted in-person at the SPCA.
